2-weeks-exchange-program in San Francisco
Last July, I was selected to go to San Francisco with a group of students who came from different universities background. We went to various fantastic places such as Golden Gate Bridge, Mission Delors, Vista point, Bay Bridge, and Union Square. Amazingly, we had remarkable opportunities to go to giant companies in Silicon Valley and financial district, those of which include Google, Mozilla Firefox, Cisco, HIP (Human Impact & Profit), HUB and Food Revolution. Those companies I have mentioned are all everyone dreams that she/he wishes to step in, and particularly Google, I am grateful to have this golden opportunity to explore about the world that used to appear beyond my imagination. Furthermore, we also went to Stanford University and Berkeley College for our study tour.
2 weeks trip to San Francisco means a lot to me, it is not about all the memories that I have spent with my group, but a life-changing experience that helps to widen my knowledge and a key-opening for my future career. Undoubtedly, I have learned so many things about that amazing place. However, one important factor is that every company in United States always does something that is good for their society which also known as social responsibilities. For instances, HUB, a place for the business interaction, most of their facilities are created from all the wastes. Recycling and renovation is what they do for their working environment; they renovate the entire old chair, table, and other office equipment. Another obvious example is Food Revolution Company; they provide a nutritious food for all the high school students. They are not only making profit, but also benefit the younger generation's health at the same time. Admittedly, it is hardly to find such of those companies in my country because we are in developing country, I do hope I will have a chance to put all those things into practice and be a change maker for my own nation.
To conclude, United States is not only a great place to visit; however also a great place for students to discover the new things and technologies that have been implemented. Americans not only work, but they do pay attention to their country and people around.

Capital Concerns for Rice Export in Cambodia
On Tuesday 21, December 2010. There was a talk between Lim Bun Heng, who is a president of rice processor and exporter of Loran Export-Import Co with Chun Sophal about the future Cambodia's rice production.
Rice Export carries out an indispensable role for Cambodia economic development because we are the major agriculture country. However, we are now having a problem during the rice harvesting season because of insufficient capital. H.E. Lim Bun Heng insisted that in order to export rice smoothly, we should have at least US$10 million. And "currently my company has assets such as land, buildings and rice mills worth about US$8 million and we have only US$3 million of cash capital to buy rice" (said H.E. Lim Bun Heng).
If we cannot increase of capital in the future, then we will have to face a big problem competing with our neighbors countries. " I would like to see more intervention from the government in financing soft loans to all rice exporters so that we will be able to improve our rice business. " said H.E. Lim Bun Heng.
He thinks that it will take at least five more years to become as big Vietnam and Thailand in term of rice producer because now we are enhancing rice productivity and equipping ourselves with the most advanced rice processing machines.

Another event of AIESEC LUCT which is membership recruitment day. We had 17 applicants, but only 14 showed up on that day. I was quite sad with the number of candidates. :( However, the whole event ran smoothly and dynamically. Thanks to Miss.Chair for giving us a wonderful time.
I feel like these guys are part of my family now. We share things together both sad and happy moment. :) We have been through lots of obstacle and success. :) Love you guys so much. <3 It's explicable to explain my feeling toward them..I just hope that this friendship and love will last long and I am going to keep this as the best memory of my life experience.

Whole day spent on AIESEC Meeting :)
Today I joined 3 meeting and none of them is my department :)
My morning shift, I attended the COMMs department and discussed about the DLS ( Discovery Leader Seminar ). I prepared the agenda with my co-worker, Visothpanha Ung. It was fantastic. Another AIESEC mates gave me a milk and my other beloved member gave me her home-made sandwich for breakfast. We ate and talked together with smile and fun. :)
After the first meeting ended, I came back home and joined another ICX meeting in the afternoon. :) They were discussing about their new project which named as " Operating Unity " . ICX team has set some rules for their members to participate more on their tasks. I was quite shock to see all those rules (O.O)
Followed by ICX, I joined COMMs meeting again. I was forced to be a facilitator for the coming DLS. :) hehehe...Finally the meeting ended at 4.
When the meeting is over, we, AIESECers decided to have the social together. We ate khmer biscuits plus green soy been. :) they were quite cheap and tasty. :)
That's all about my today activities ^^ . It was solely spent for AIESEC activities. hehehe...but I really enjoy it. :)
